Continuing the upward evolution of the recent years, marked by achieving a historical maximum of publications indexed in Clarivate - Web of Science, "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati ranked 10th nationally out of the 102 universities evaluated in the "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities", Edition 2024 (https://www.webometrics.info/en/Europe/Romania).

The "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities" is an initiative of the Cybermetric Laboratory, which belongs to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research institution in Spain, which is among the first fundamental research organizations in Europe.
