A delegation of "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, consisting of Professor Silvius Stanciu, PhD, and Assoc. Prof. Gina Necula, Dean of the Cross-border Faculty participate today in an Education Marathon in Cahul, held under the generic "Quality Management - the response of the Cahulean education system to current challenges".

Organized in partnership by Cahul District Council and Cahul General Directorate of Education, the event aims to encourage and mobilize the dissemination of successful experiences in the educational field.

Specifically, the organizers and participants want to support, develop, transfer, and implement performances in the educational system through educational partnerships, hoping that they will significantly contribute to increasing quality in education.

"We are convinced that our successful experiences at DJUG will offer participants the opportunity to achieve lasting partnerships. We are ready to share our experiences, to confront ideas, methods, or good practices with concrete results", said the vice-rector of DJUG, Professor Silvius Stanciu, PhD.

The event organized by the General Directorate for Education Cahul and coordinated by Director Valeriu Baban, enjoys the presence of Mr. Dan Perciun, Minister of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Nicolae Dunas, President of Cahul District Council, Mrs. Tatiana Romaniuc, Deputy Mayor of Cahul municipality, as well as representatives of the Government in the territory and other local public authorities.

The conference takes place at the Children's Health Rest and Maintenance Camp "Romantica" in Cahul.
