The Liaison Office of the European Parliament in Romania, together with “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati and with the support of UROPE DIRECT Galati, organizes on November 21, 2022 - 11:00 a.m. an event in the framework of the #impreuna-in.eu campaign dedicated to young people from Galati and the entire region.

The meaning of being a civically involved citizen, about the role of young people in a democratic society, about the motivations and values that determine civic behavior and about the importance of exercising democratic rights shall be discussed with other young people.
 
The event will be opened by the Vice-rector responsible for strategies and institutional relations and spokesperson, Alexandru Nechifor, M.D. The presentation of the activities of the Europe Direct Galati Center will be made by Mrs. Camelia EPURE, coordinator of the Center, the details about the communication impreuna-in.eu campaign will be presented by Anca Simion-Neagoe, the representative of the European Parliament Office in Romania. A panel about youth involvement and the importance of exercising democratic rights will be presented by Oana TACHE, journalist, Gabriel ION, representative of the Romanian Youth Forum and Andreea SCRIOSTEANU, representative of the Romanian Youth Council.
 
A session of questions and answers / Conclusions will close the impreuna-in.eu event: Voice of the Youth in the European Union.
